Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT)
For the privilege of occupancy in any hotel, each transient is subject to a tax in the amount of 10% of the rent charged by the operator of the hotel. The tax is to be assessed, collected, and remitted to the City of Oceanside by the operator pursuant to Chapter 34 of the Oceanside Municipal Code.
