Annual Slurry Seal (Upcoming Contract)
A slurry seal is an emulsion of asphalt, course sand and recycled tire rubber, which is spread across the road surface. It protects and extends the life of the asphalt below.
This next slurry seal project is currently out to bid. The estimated construction cost is $1,000,000 and is funded by TransNet. |

Parking Lot 26 Expansion
The project expands the parking lot on the west side of the coastal railroad right-of-way from Tyson Street south to Wisconsin Street. 235 new spaces will be created, and the project extends the coastal bicycle rail trail through the new parking lot. $1,200,000 in funding is provided by Redevelopment Bond Funds.
