| | The Fire Prevention Division, also known as the Fire Marshal’s Office, is responsible for the prevention of fires and fire safety throughout the City of Oceanside.

- Holding OFD Open House
- Smoke Detector Program
- Ironman Triathlon Public Safety
Through these extensive activities, fire prevention fulfills the fire departments mission of protecting threats to life, the environment, and property.
