Parks and Recreation presents “Frozen” Saturday, September 5, at the Pier Amphitheater located south of the Beach Recreation Center and Oceanside Pier. Come and see Anna, a fearless optimist, set off on an epic journey - teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven - to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom. Movie starts at dark, so come early to set up your own “Movie Theater.” Bring your blankets and picnic dinners and spend your evening with family, friends and Parks and Recreation under the night sky. This is a FREE, family-friendly event. Free parking is located at the lots off Mission Ave., across from Harney Sushi & Dairy Queen. For more information regarding this event please contact Parks and Recreation at (760) 435-5041 or visit us on the web at www.oceansiderec.com. Parks Make Life Better!
