SUNsational Day Camp

Each week, choose from a variety of different types of themes focused on fun activities to nurture a child's unique interests. SUNsational Day Camp provides a safe environment filled with fun activities that encourage your child to develop positive relationships with peers. Great for kids who like to be busy all day long!
This is an action packed summer camp that includes weekly field trips to great destinations like The Wild Animal Park, The Wave Water Park and of course the beach, for some O'side "Fun in the Sun". Sports, Action, Adventure and Aquatic Camps 

Sports

Besides for our traditional Sports Camps such as, Beginner Basketball and Beach Volleyball, we are excited to offer a variety for Sports Camps Combo! These camps provide sports instruction in the morning, a lunch break, and then out to the beach for sun and fun. Combo camps include, Basketball & Beach, Ball & Boogie and Bowl and Beach. Action

The Travel Skate Park is the adrenaline action you where looking for! Throughout the week participants will visit some of the best skate parks in Souther California including Etnies Skate Park of Lake Forest and Pala Skate Park. All Skate Camps depart from the Melba Bishop Recreation Center. For more information please call 760-435-5550.

Adventure and Aquatics

Oceanside's famous Surf Camp teaches surfing and a variety of surf related activities to campers. Activities include beginning to advance surf instruction, beach games and lessons on ocean safety. We will also be offering a Drop-in Surf Camp for all those who can't attend an entire week of camp. Aside from our Surf Camp campers can also join Habitats in the Sea Camp, where they will learn about sea animals, migration patterns of gray whales, and how fish survive their daily activities. Summer Concert Series

This year’s Oceanside “Concerts in the Parks” are being co-sponsored by the City of Oceanside Parks and Recreation Division, Friends of Oceanside Parks, and the Friends of Oceanside Library. There are two great concerts planned. Both concerts will be held at Rancho Del Oro Park at 4700 Mesa Drive, corner of Mesa/College (adjacent to the Y), Oceanside, 92056. Refreshments will be sold. Please bring a blanket or a low-back beach chair to sit on. The City is still seeking additional sponsorships, for more information contact Eileen Turk at 760-435-5529.
