Aaron Doyle
Lieutenant Aaron Doyle was hired by the Oceanside Police Department in May of 1996. He is currently assigned as a Watch Commander in the Field Operations Patrol Division.

During his career, Lieutenant Doyle has been a Neighborhood Enhancement Team Officer, Canine Handler, Field Training Officer, SWAT Team member, Drug Recognition Expert Instructor and Crimes of Violence Detective. He was promoted to the rank of sergeant in December 2004 and held supervisory positions as a Canine Unit supervisor, School Safety Enhancement Team sergeant and detective sergeant in the General Investigations Family Protection Unit. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in October 2011 and currently is assigned to Field Operations Patrol Division. His collateral duties include overseeing the Terrorism Liaison Program, Traffic Services Unit and the School Safety Enhancement Team.

Lieutenant Doyle has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Portland State University and a Master of Science Degree in Law Enforcement Intelligence and Analysis from Michigan State University.
