Valencia Warner-Saadat

Valencia Warner-SaadatLieutenant Valencia I. Saadat was born and raised in the City of Oceanside. She was hired as an Oceanside Police Recruit in September 1991. Prior to that she held the position of Public Service Officer from 1990- 1991.

Lieutenant Saadat is currently assigned as the Day Watch Commander. She is tasked with managing the day-to-day operations of Field Operations Sunday through Wednesday.

During her career, she has held a variety of assignments including Special Enforcement Section Lieutenant, Patrol Sergeant, General Investigations Sergeant, Patrol Corporal, Field Training Officer, Crimes of Violence Detective, Property Crimes Detective and Neighborhood Enhancement Team (NETwork) Officer.

Lieutenant Saadat is a graduate of Oceanside High School, holds an Associate of Arts Degree from MiraCosta College, as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree and Master’s Degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University. Lieutenant Saadat is also a graduate of the Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute, the Regional Management Academy and Command College.
