The Family Protection Unit is comprised of one Sergeant, four Detectives, two Investigative Assistants and one Field Evidence Technician. They are responsible for investigating domestic violence, child abuse, elder abuse (both physical and financial), missing persons, all sex crimes and, lastly, monitor the registration and compliance of local sex offenders.
