The Oceanside Police Department is proud to announce its 2nd Annual Oceanside Police K-9 Trials. This two-day event will be held on March 23rd and 24th, 2018. All active-duty city, county and federal agency K-9 teams are invited to attend this event.
On Friday March 23rd, 2018, the narcotics and evidence portions of the trial will take place. This phase of the trial will not be open to the public in order to maintain fairness during scoring. Friday’s events will take place at the picturesque Oceanside Harbor.
On Saturday, March 24th, 2018, the patrol phase of the trial will take place. Teams will be judged in obedience, agility, building search, area search and man work. As this trial is open to all levels of experience, there will not be a "novice" category.
Saturday’s events will be held at El Camino High School (400 Rancho Del Oro Dr., Oceanside) Following Saturday’s portion of the trial, there will be an awards banquet at MagnaFlow Performance Exhausts located at 1901 Corporate Centre Dr, Oceanside. During the banquet, there will be food, drink and raffles for all in attendance. Entry fees include event t-shirt & Saturday banquet; additional banquet tickets may be purchased for $25.
The public is welcomed to attend Saturday’s K-9 event in conjunction with the 2nd Annual City of Oceanside Public Safety Fair. Open to the entire family, free admission! Please see flyer for more information.

Note to handlers: Oceanside Police Department personnel may be participating in the trial but will not be in competition for any awards.
