Water Awareness Poster Contest

Celebrating 20 Years of Water Awareness! Each year the City of Oceanside participates in a regional water awareness poster contest for fourth grade students. The contest challenges fourth grade students to learn and illustrate how “Water is Life.” The top 3 winning entries receive recognition by the City, a prize, and have their artwork published in the following year’s water awareness calendar.

To participate, a student must be a fourth grade student in the Oceanside Unified School District. Contest deadline is March 31, 2012.

The Splash Lab is a completely self-contained mobile lab that provides students with hands-on science experience. It is truly a field trip that comes to your school. There is a limitation in reservations, contact the San Diego County Office of Education at (619) 491-3180 for more information.
