The Oceanside Clean Water Program is dedicated to sustaining and improving water quality in Oceanside rivers, creeks, lagoons, sloughs and the Pacific Ocean. Studies have shown that materials such as litter, fertilizers, pesticides and bacteria are causing water pollution. These materials can travel down the storm drain system from water runoff and illegal dumping.
You can help prevent pollutants from reaching waterways by reporting anybody dumping anything down a storm drain or if you see water running in the street and it is not raining. Watch this video to learn more about how you can help and how to properly report dumping violations and water runoff. Your information will help protect the health of humans, wildlife, and the livelihoods that depend on healthy waterways.
You can also call the Oceanside Urban Runoff Hotline at 760-435-4500 to report information. Be prepared to provide the information listed below. Your personal information will be kept confidential. The Clean Water Program thanks you for your commitment to protecting water quality in Oceanside rivers, creeks, lagoons and the ocean.
