| | | Park and Recreation Goes "Green"November 7, 2011 Parks and Recreation is making a commitment to the environment to reduce paper consumption by "going green", offering a digital-only format of the Recreation Activity Guide. The City of Oceanside Parks & Recreation Division will release the winter 2012 Recreation Activity Guide the week of November 7, 2011. The interactive PDF document will be available on the Parks & Recreation page of the new City of Oceanside website, located at www.ci.oceanside.ca.us/gov/ns/parks/guide.asp. Class registration will open December 5, 2011. In addition to classes, the winter brochure showcases Parks & Recreation sports activities such as pee wee sports, basketball skills, adult co-ed softball and golf for youth. Also, look for the many aquatic programs offered at the pool! The guide is full of useful family-focused events, activities, and services.
