Volunteers acknowledged for helping seniors in Oceanside

The City of Oceanside Parks & Recreation Division thanked all their Volunteer Drivers during the Volunteer Appreciation Banquet held in December at the Country Club Senior Center, 455 Country Club Lane in Oceanside.  The Volunteer Drivers utilize their own vehicles to drive Oceanside Seniors to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, prescription pick-up, and other daily outings. This program is made possible by the City of Oceanside Parks & Recreation Division, TransNet, and the volunteer drivers.
