Friends of the Library to hold Annual Meeting

The Friends of the Oceanside Public Library will hold their Annual Membership Meeting on Saturday, February 25, at 3:30 p.m., in the Civic Center Library Community Rooms located at 330 North Coast Highway.  The meeting is open to the public, and Friends members are encouraged to attend.  The election of the 2012 Board of Directors will take place, as well as a financial review and a Library Director's presentation.  Light refreshments will be served.   

Guests are invited to come early, as the event is planned to take place directly following the Library’s Their Eyes Were Watching God  Big Read Finale event, which will be a Southern "Hat Stroll" for families honoring author Zora Neale Hurston’s love of Southern cultures, tradition and folklore.
