Rubber Duck Reading Program for Tweens at the Library
February 24, 2012
One of the biggest challenges during the school year is to get tweens to read for the fun of it. This year the Oceanside Public Library is encouraging tweens, students in grades four through eighth, to join the Rubber Duck Reading Program. Tweens can sign up online by visiting the Oceanside Public Library's Teen Book Club page and following the links. Once tweens read three books, they can earn a cool rubber duck in a variety of fashions; one of the most popular being the Ninja Rubber Duck! The Rubber Duck Reading Program begins on March 1 and runs through April 30.
