Water Conservation Ad Hoc Subcommittee

The City of Oceanside's Utilities Commission is seeking volunteers for an Ad-hoc Water Conservation Subcommittee.  The purpose of the committee is to assist in developing an implementation plan for the City of Oceanside Water Conservation Master Plan.

The Committee will consist of Oceanside residents, business owners and developers who represent specific water/sewer customer user groups.  An important goal of the Committee will be to promote public understanding and appreciation for different points of view and to build a consensus that will ensure a balanced approach to financing these plans.

Committee duration:         Approximately 6 months
Number of meetings:        8-12
Frequency:        Twice a month
Time:        1½-2 hours (evening sessions)
