Burglary Suspect Arrested

On February 27, 2012, a home in the 3500 block of Durham Circle in Oceanside was burglarized. Taken in the burglary were firearms, electronics, motorcycle accessories and power tools totaling approximately $30,000.

On March 24, 2012, Oceanside Police arrested 38-year-old Vista resident William Cooper in connection with the burglary. On March 24, 2012, San Diego Sheriff's SWAT Team served a search warrant at Cooper’s residence in the 500 block of Rancho Vista Road in Vista. Located at the residence were items taken in the Durham Circle burglary.

Cooper was booked into the Vista Detention Facility for burglary and possession of stolen property. Cooper is scheduled for arraignment on March 27, 2012.
