Celebrate National Library Week
Library Offering Amnesty Week for Overdue Items
March 27, 2012
The Oceanside Public Library is celebrating National Library Week by offering Amnesty Week for overdue items from Monday, April 9, to Saturday, April 14, 2012. Amnesty Week is an opportunity for the Library to welcome back customers who have stopped visiting or using the Library's services because of overdue charges or unreturned items. During Amnesty Week, return your overdue items to any Oceanside Public Library location and have the fines on those items forgiven. Sorry, lost items and other fines and fees are not eligible.
In addition, during National Library Week, the Civic Center Library will be hosting a Library Happy Hour on Tuesday, April 10, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., which will include free, non-alcoholic refreshments and other fun activities. The Bookmobile, Mission Branch Library and Civic Center Library will all offer a host of other activities during National Library Week that showcase the kinds of regular and special events offered for all ages at the Oceanside Public Library. For more information about Amnesty Week, National Library Week or any other Library events or services, please visit the website at www.oceansidepubliclibrary.org or call 760-435-5600.
