Meet Author Felice Picano at Oceanside Library

The public is invited to meet author Felice Picano at the Oceanside Public Library Community Rooms, 330 N. Coast Highway, Oceanside, on Saturday, May 5, at 5 p.m.  Picano, whose recent work includes True Stories: Portraits From My Past, Contemporary Gay Romance, and Twelve O'Clock Tales, will read selections from his works. A free reception will be held at the North County LGBTQ Resource Center immediately following the author visit. 

Felice Picano is the author of more than twenty-five books of poetry, fiction, memoirs, nonfiction, and plays.  His works has been translated into many languages, several titles were national and international bestsellers, and four plays have been produced. He is considered a founder of modern gay literature, along with the other members of the Violet Quill.  Picano currently blogs on HuffingtonPost.com and recent stories, essays, and reviews are available to view at www.felicepicano.net
