| | | Dive Into Summer with the New Aquatic Speciality ClassesApril 30, 2012 Oceanside Parks & Recreation will offer several new aquatic specialty classes to assist in the improvement of your child's swimming skills. Check out Novice Swim Team, Junior Life Saving, Diving, Water Polo, and Synchronized Swimming, all offered at the Brooks Street Swim Center located at 130 Brooks Street. Each of these specialized programs has been designed to introduce participants to competitive aquatic fundamentals. All lessons are two weeks in length, meet for 65 minutes daily Monday-Friday, and are intended for youth ranging in age from 5 to 15. All participants must pass a swim test and meet the established prerequisites for the class. Registration is taken only at the Brooks Street Swim Center. Aquatic programs help build a strong, healthy body and help prevent obesity, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and other diseases. Give your child a healthy reward for their hard work all school year long by enrolling them into a skill-building aquatic program.
