October 2, 2013
Cal State University San Marcos (CSUSM) Political Science Professor Dr. Stephen W. Nichols will lead a public discussion on what he terms as “Broken Government,” a topic of his particular interest, at the Oceanside Public Library’s Civic Center location, on Wednesday, October 9 at 6:00 p.m. Dr. Nichols’ opinion is that the United States’ political system has become dysfunctional, to such a degree that the country has arrived at a federal government shutdown over health care reform. This forum, in which Dr. Nichols’ will share his ideas, and invite comment and discussion, is offered as part of the Oceanside Public Library “No Participation Required” program series. The Civic Center Library is located at 330 North Coast Highway, in downtown Oceanside.
