Immigration Issues Past and Present

On Wednesday, February 12, at 5:30 p.m., join Oceanside Public Library’s “No Participation Required” monthly informational series in the 2nd floor Foundation Room. This month’s host will be Gary Castaneda, Comparative Politics and International Relations expert, focusing on the political economy of Mexico and Latin America. He will speak about current and past Immigration and Immigration Reform Issues. Dr. Castaneda has served as an adjunct Political Science Professor and lecturer at all of the Colleges and Universities in the Greater San Diego area. This semester you can find him at MiraCosta College, Palomar, and San Diego City Colleges.
No Participation Required is a free series that brings educational and exciting lectures to the Oceanside community. The Library incorporates local interest and current events with area experts to create dialogue in the community. This free series is sponsored by The Friends of the Oceanside Public Library.
