Incident Status
Currently, there are no fires within the City of Oceanside city boundary. The River Fire is 100 percent contained and it poses no threat to structures. A containment line has been established and the few remaining hot spots are being addressed by Oceanside Fire Department units. All mutual aid companies have been released.

What Citizens Need To Know
The fires burning in the Camp Pendleton area continue to demonstrate volatile fire behavior. These fires are still far away and currently pose no risk to the City of Oceanside. Members of the Fire Department command staff have been assessing potential risk to the City since early this morning and will assess tonight’s progress of the fires in the morning with Camp Pendleton Fire.
