City of Oceanside Afterschool Programs

The City of Oceanside Parks and Recreation Division will offer afterschool programs for school-aged students and teens for the 2014-15 school year.

• Teen S.T.A.R.T program is offered by the City of Oceanside Parks & Recreation staff serving teens ages 11-17 from 2:30p.m. – 6:00p.m. at the Melba Bishop Recreation center. Teens will receive homework assistance, volunteer opportunities and participate in fun teen trips and events. To register, go to www.oceansiderec.com.

• For Kids Sake offers afterschool fun and homework assistance for kids grades 1-5 and is offered at Melba Bishop Recreation Center and Joe Balderrama Recreation Center.
