Free Summer Concert Promotes Health and Wellness
August 24, 2011
Come to a free concert in the park featuring the headliner “Surfin’ Safari”, a Beach Boys Tribute Band, August 26, 2011, at Rancho Del Oro Park located at 4700 Mesa Drive in Oceanside. Second in the summer concerts program offered through Oceanside Parks and Recreation and the newly formed nonprofit, “Friends of Oceanside Parks”, the event will feature a pre-show starting at 5:00pm with the headlining band taking the stage at approximately 6:00pm. Preshow entertainment will be provided by the “Two-Tones”, playing popular sounds from artists such as Jimmy Buffett and Santana.
Research connects the presence of music with a greater sense of well-being and greater joy. Elevate your mood on August 26 by joining your Oceanside friends and neighbors at Rancho Del Oro Park. Free, family-friendly events such as these are made possible, in part, by the dedication of the members of “Friends of Oceanside Parks”.
