9.             City Council: Adoption of two resolutions authorizing the City to apply for grant funds in the approximate amount of $1,750,000 from the United States Bureau of Reclamation for 1) the Automated Meter Infrastructure Pilot and Implementation Project offered through the Bureau’s WaterSMART Grants: Water and Energy Efficiency Grants for Fiscal Year 2017, and 2) the Water Reclamation Treatment Facility Project offered through the Bureau’s WaterSMART Drought Response Program: Drought Resiliency Projects for Fiscal Year 2017; approval to appropriate the funds to the Water Utilities Department; and authorization for the City Manager to act on behalf of the City as signatory to accept grant funds

11.              City Council: Approval of the plans and specifications for the construction of the Railroad Crossing Safety Improvements Project; authorization for the City Engineer to call for bids; approval of three traffic alterations on North Myers Street between Civic Center Drive and Sportfisher; concurrence on issuance of a California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Notice of Exemption; approval of Amendment 2 in the amount of $477,741 to the Professional Services Agreement with RailPros, Inc., for a revised contract amount of $1,420,597 to provide construction management services for the project; and authorization for the City Manager to execute the amendment
