Tri-City Healthcare District is currently in negotiations with Sharp HealthCare to enter into a long-term affiliation agreement. If transacted, this would turn over operational and financial responsibility of Tri-City Medical Center to Sharp HealthCare.

As a California healthcare district, Tri-City is owned by the constituents residing in the cities of Carlsbad, Oceanside and Vista. Therefore, approval of such a transaction requires public feedback and voter approval.

As part of this process, Tri-City Healthcare District is holding a series of public meetings to share key provisions of the proposed affiliation with Sharp HealthCare and to solicit vital community feedback.

One meeting of six will be held at the Civic Center Library from 5-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6.  Parking and Shuttle information
