The Parks and Recreation Commission considers and makes recommendations to the City Council on policies pertaining to the acquisition, development, operation and maintenance of City park facilities, beach facilities, community center facilities and golf course facilities, and shall advise in the planning of City recreation and leisure programs and special events.
