The Oceanside Police Deaprtment is partnering with the San Diego County Sheriff's Department and the San Diego County District Attorney's Office to get unwanted guns off our streets.
Join us for a Gun Safety Event on:
Sunday, December 10, 2023
9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
North County Regional Center
325 South Melrose Drive, Vista
Turn in your unwanted gun and receive a gift card ($100 for handguns, rifles and shotguns and $200 for assault weapons and ghost guns).
Remain anonymous. No questions asked.
Firearms must be in working order.
Place the unloaded firearm in the trunk of your vehicle.
A deputy or officer will provide instructions when you get here.
All weapons collected will be destroyed.
We are also providing FREE gun cable locks and security boxes (while supplies last) to people looking to secure firearms kept in their homes.
