The San Diego County Shoreline (Oceanside) Mitigation Study is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ effort to mitigate for shoreline erosion caused by the construction of Camp Pendleton Harbor. The study will result in a recommended plan to restore beach conditions along the affected area. This meeting is centered on reacquainting the public with the Study objectives and milestones to date.
During two public meetings, the team will seek public input about the alternatives, their potential impacts, and evaluation considerations. The two public meetings will cover the same material and include:
