Programs such as Zero Waste, Watershed Protection, and Water Efficiency provide opportunities for the public to actively protect and benefit the local environment. Door-To-Door Program
The Door-To-Door program provides an opportunity for senior citizens and disabled residents of Oceanside to have their household hazardous waste (HHW) collected at their doorstep. To utilize this service, qualified residents can request a pickup by calling Waste Management's toll-free number: (800) 449-7587, or by going to their website linked here.

Ron Ortega Park Community Cleanup November 13, 2025
O’side residents help keep our waterways clean by joining one of the Green Oceanside’s Stay Classy Cleanups partnered with I Love a Clean San Diego! The cleanup will be held on Thursday, November 13 from 3 PM- 5 PM at Ron Ortega Park, and all ages are welcome. Sign up at cleansd.org.
