El Corazon Aquatic Center

Development of a new aquatics center adjacent to the El Corazon Senior Center.  The project includes administration, locker-room and equipment facility buildings, a new shared multi-purpose hall,  a 56-meter competition pool, educational pool, splash pad and outdoor event areas.

Fit and Finish work continues. Site work in nearing completion as well. The Splash Pad construction is nearing completion.

10/16/20

Painting continues on the interior of both the East and West Buildings. Tiling has begun in the West Building locker room while work for the sliding glass walls on the East building is moving towards completion. The splash pad area is currently being laid out and excavation for the splash pad piping is under way. Tile work continues on the Instructional Pool while work on the Competition Pool continues. Slot drains around the perimeter of each pool have been installed. Site work continues. Work progress may not be as readily evident in the coming months as fit and finish work will take more time, care and effort to bring the project to completion.
