Dine-In Restaurants & In-Store Retail to Reopen

Late last night, the State of California approved San Diego County to move father into Stage Two of the California Resiliency Roadmap.

In-person dining at restaurants and in-store retail shopping are now permitted, with businesses enacting social distancing measures and following various restrictions to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Message from the Mayor - More Businesses to Reopen Soon

I’m excited to relay that yesterday, the Governor determined that Counties may move at their own pace into "Stage 2 Reopening" of certain businesses, as long as they attest to, and meet certain benchmarks. Dr. Wooten, Public Health Officer, confirmed that San Diego County does qualify to meet the new metrics.

COVID-19 Update - More sector guidelines issued

The State estimates that 70% of the California economy has reopened. Today, the State released more specific guidelinestoday for readying to reopen other sectors, such as Offices (that cannot telework), malls and strip malls (for curbside/outdoor pickup), and outdoor museums.
