The City of Oceanside Housing and Neighborhood Services Department is requesting for proposals to identify and contract professional Financial Advisor services as-needed under the City’s Manufactured Home Fair Practices Act, commonly referred to as mobilehome rent stabilization (the “Program”). Submittal deadline is June 10, 2022 no later than 4 pm Pacific Time.
The City is announcing the posting of the draft FY 2022-23 Annual Plan for CDBG/HOME funds and HOME-ARP Cost Allocation Plan, an Amendment to FY 2021-22 Annual Plan. The Annual Plan describes proposed activities to be funded for FY 2022-23 from an estimated $1,484,779 in CDBG funds and $839,454 in HOME funds that the City will receive from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Proposed activities must meet the goals established in the 2020-24 Consolidated Plan. The HOME-ARP Allocation Plan describes the use of $2.250 million in HOME-American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) funds the City is receiving from HUD to assist in reducing and preventing homelessness and increase housing stability.
The draft FY 2022-23 Annual Plan will be available for a 30-day public review and comment period and the HOME-ARP Cost Allocation Plan for a minimum 15-day period beginning on Friday, April 1, 2022. Copies of the draft documents and the files relating to these items are available for public review and comment at the Housing and Neighborhood Services Department located at 321 N. Nevada Street during regular weekday office hours, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The City Council considered all comments received during the public review period for the HOME-ARP Allocation Plan and its approval at the April 20,2022 City Council public hearing. The final FY 2022-23 Annual Plan will be considered for approval at the City Council meeting on August 10, 2022.
