Lateral Police Officer Candidates

The Oceanside Police Department is now accepting applications for Police Officer Laterals. We currently have an incentive program where an applicant who is hired can earn up to $22,000. An Oceanside Police Officer enjoys the benefits of working in a growing and diverse beach community. We are one of the last Southern California cities where you can live, work, and play all in the same community. A variety of opportunities are available within the Police Department, giving a department member the ability to serve our community within a variety of career paths.
