Holiday Tree Recycling

Holiday trees will be collected curbside for three weeks following December 25th on regular collection days.

Trees should be placed adjacent to the green waste cart or cut in half and placed in the green waste cart with the lid closed. All tree stands and decorations must be removed before collection. Flocked trees cannot be recycled and must be disposed of through regular landfill service.

Residents can also drop off holiday trees at the El Corazon Compost Facility (3210 Oceanside Blvd) during open hours to be recycled.

Please note, holiday trees should NOT be dropped off at the City Operation Center.
