Construction of all public buildings and infrastructure projects is accomplished through the Engineering CIP Division. Whether the City needs a new road, sidewalk, building, bike path, park, or landscaped parkways and medians, our CIP team is ready to provide technical expertise, project management, plan review, inspection and all related services needed to improve the quality of our public facilities and infrastructure.

The Engineering CIP Division provides services and assistance to project managers in all the departments in the City to manage and process the construction projects in accordance with the City, State, and Federal requirements and guidelines. Services includes distributing and monitoring plan checks, and reviewing and preparing contract documents in accordance with the City and industry standards, routing action documents, advertising, opening and tabulating bids, resolving bid protests and claims, reviewing insurance requirements, initiating contract notices to proceed, providing oversight of contracts for construction and professional design services and maintaining the City's standard specifications and drawings used in construction.
