The City of Oceanside Engineering Design Manual serves to establish procedures and minimum standards for various plans and documents submitted to and processed by the Engineering Department. The standards presented in the manual govern the processing of subdivision maps and related documents as well as public and private improvement and grading plans. It can be found in the five parts below:

Update to the Engineering Design Manual: All design and construction projects related to water, sewer, and reclaimed water are now subject to all requirements as listed in the Water, Sewer, and Reclaimed Water Design and Construction Manual adopted by resolution of the City Council on November 17, 2004. The requirements for water, sewer, and reclaimed water in the Engineer's Design and Processing Manual are now superseded and void.
