Home MenuFloodplain Plan Review
All projects located in Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) on parcels inundated by the 100 year floodplain are required to show the flood plain limits and flood zone designation on all plans and submit to the City for review and approval prior to any grading or building permit to be issued. Development within the SFHA may have additional requirements per the City's Floodplain Management Regulations (Potentially including: elevation requirements, Floodproofing Requirements, Design Certifications, and Letter of Map Changes/Revisions).
All documents required for submittal of all types of FEMA map revisions and Letters of Map Changes such as CLOMR, LOMR, and LOMA shall be submitted to the City prior to submission to FEMA.
The required review of projects on SFHA depends on the location, size and complexity of a project and has generally been divided into FEMA review applications as follows:
- MT- EZ Form - Application Form for Single Residential Lot or Structure Amendments to National Flood Insurance Program Maps (Condensed Version of the MT-1 Form)
- MT-1 Form - Application Forms for Conditional and Final Letters of Map Amendment and Letters of Map Revision Based on Fill (For all LOMA, CLOMA, LOMR-F, and CLOMR-F Requests)
- MT-2 Form - Application Forms for Conditional Letters of Map Revision and Letters of Map Revision (For all LOMR, CLOMR, and Physical Map Revisions (PMR) Requests)
