Final or Subdivision Maps are typically processed for creating 5 or more lots, 5 or more condominiums, apartment projects, etc., as defined in Section 66426 of Subdivision Map Act. Final/subdivision Maps must be prepared on 18” X 26” sheet and must be signed and stamped by a Land Surveyor or Civil Engineer licensed by the State of California.

Final Maps shall conform to all the following:
- California Subdivision Map Act - Current Version of Government Code 66410- 66499.58
- Professional Land Surveyor’s Act
- Current Version of San Diego County Chapter 1 Final Map (Major Subdivision) Manual
- City of Oceanside Engineering Design and Processing Manual
- City of Oceanside Subdivision Ordinance
- Standard Conditions for Tentative Maps as referenced in the Resolution of Approval
- Conditions specified in the Resolution of Approval
Note: The content of every map is project specific. For accurate and up to date information on the content of each item refer to Subdivision Map Act, County of San Diego Map Processing and City of Oceanside Engineering Design manuals, City of Oceanside Subdivision Ordinance and Secretary of State website. Also Conditions of Approval for each project contains the additional items that must be included in the map, such as fee deferment note.
