Prior to the release of any building for occupancy by the Engineering Division:

• All required construction activities must be completed
• Finished grade certification and FEMA elevation certificate shall be submitted

Finished Grade Certificate

The finished grade certificate shall indicate that all swales have been graded per plan (1% minimum), and the provisions of Section 1701 (a) [2] (a through f) of the City's Grading Ordinance have been met.

FEMA Elevation Certificate

The current FEMA elevation certificate can be obtained through FEMA website. Sections A-D must be completed. Elevation on section C is expected to be in NAVD88 using City's NAVD88 Control Monuments.
