The Housing & Neighborhood Services Department operates four Community Resource Centers, located in the Libby Lake, Crown Heights, Eastside, and Tri City neighborhoods of Oceanside.

The Community Resource Centers provide a venue where health and social service agencies can provide services aimed at improving and enhancing the quality of life of residents. Community Resource Center staff and collaborative agencies help residents locate and access needed services.

The Community Resource Centers provide a meeting place for neighborhood resident associations and support groups; a site for after school programs; youth and adult educational and health programs; computer access and training; and a focal point from which revitalization of neighborhoods can be accomplished.

The Community Resource Center Specialist also serves as a liaison between the community, service providers, and the various City Departments and services, including Library services, Parks and Recreation, Oceanside Police Department and Code Enforcement.
