Our adventures are designed to entertain the experienced and educate the novice while touring around the Oceanside Harbor. Common local sightings include pelicans, garibaldi and sea lions!

Our adventures are for adults and children 14 years and older. Oceanside Aquatic Adventure Recreation staff will provide sit-on-top tandem kayaks, paddles and lifejackets. Due to the nature of sit-on-top kayaks, we highly recommend bringing a dry change of clothes for after your kayak session.

All moonlight paddle sessions meet at the OAAR kayaks at 1400 N Harbor Drive.

Registration for our moonlight paddle sessions must be completed before the session begins. Drop-ins are not permitted. Please call Wagner Aquatic Center for assistance at

Moonlight Paddle

Enjoy the beauty and romance of Oceanside's Harbor under a full moon! We will meet before our paddle for a short informational skills session. We will launch our kayaks at sunset for a pleasant 2 hour paddle under the moon and stars. Headlamps will be provided in addition to standard kayaking class equipment.

Moonlight paddles take place monthly on Saturday nights under the full moon from June to September. Start times for moonlight paddles are subject to change due to actual sunset times.
