Thank you to all who joined Green Oceanside for the 2025 Earth Day Community Event and volunteered in the Creek to Bay Cleanup! It was great to see participants practicing reuse by creating bags from t-shirts, learning proper waste sorting with zero waste corn hole, spinning the wheel for an Earth Day trivia question, and enjoying cold, clean water from the Green Oceanside water trailer. Thank you to the City of Oceanside Library, City of Oceanside Coastal Zone Program, Waste Management, Agriservice, Camp Pendleton, YMCA, Healthy Kids Happy Planet, Bye Bye Mattress, Audubon Society, Sierra Club, Surfrider, California Native Plant Society – San Diego Chapter, Coastal Community, Friends of El Corazon, and Produce Good for joining! We couldn't have done it without our supportive Oceanside community.  

Thank you to everyone who participated in the annual Creek to Bay Cleanup in coordination with I Love a Clean San Diego! With your help we were able to remove 1,357 pounds of trash and 312 pounds of recycling from our watersheds throughout Oceanside.  

And finally, thank you for celebrating Earth Month all month long.  We challenge you to continue your sustainable efforts all year. Keep an eye out for next year’s Earth Month celebrations!
