An estimated 50 million tons of e-waste is produced each year! Some examples of e-waste include: televisions, computers, printers, blenders, power cords, speakers, cell phones, and tablets. It is illegal to dispose of these materials in our landfills, or our residential landfill carts.

Schedule a Curbside Pick-up

Residents can schedule curbside collection of up to five          e-waste items five times annually. To schedule a free e-waste pick up, call Waste Management's Customer Service line at (760) 439-2824 at least 24 hours in advance of your collection day.

Dispose of Batteries & Cell Phones Curbside

Simply place unwanted cellphones and batteries in a clear plastic storage bag and set them on top of the blue recycling cart on collection day. No appointment needed! Be sure to remove any personal data from cell phone before collection.
