Oceanside Harbor Dredging The Army Corps of Engineers dredges the Oceanside Harbor entrance annually to ensure safe navigation for vessels.  The sand dredged is placed on Oceanside beaches.  The Army Corps of Engineers anticipates beginning this work in April and completing the work by Memorial Day weekend.  City staff will be bringing an Agreement to the City Council for approval on April 24 which would allow the City to add funds to the dredging effort if extra sand is available.  This would result in additional sand for City beaches.
