Communication during COVID-19 Public Health Orders
Commission meetings are continuing. Due to applicable Public Health Orders, the City Council chambers will not be open to the public and Manufactured Home Fair Practices Commission members have the option of participating by phone. You’re encouraged to watch the meeting on KOCT Cox Channel 19 or live stream on KOCT’s webpage (https://www.koct.org/channel-19. You may provide written comments via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. All comments will need to be received by 4:00 p.m. All timely received comments will be provided to the Commission. While emailed comments are preferred, the public may also provide comments by calling (760) 435-5991. When prompted, the caller should identify the agenda item to speak about and leave a message not to exceed three minutes. All timely received telephonic comments will be shared with members of the Commission and will be made publicly available at the city’s webpage by clicking here. The deadline to leave a telephonic comment is noon on May 7, 2020.
If you desire to have your comment read/played into the record at the Commission meeting, please indicate so in the first line of your email or voicemail. The City Clerk will read comments as requested up to a total of 15 minutes per item. Please note that if you request the comment to be read/played into the record, only the first 50 words will be read aloud or only one minute for each comment will be played.
